  • Day 01
    Day 01    Delhi

    Upon arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to the hotel. Welcome reception. Overnight stay in Delhi.

  • Day 02
    Day 02    Delhi

    On this day you will discover the treasures of Delhi. We will start with a walking tour through the labyrinth of streets of Old Delhi. Following this we will stop at Rajghat, resting place of Mahatma Gandhi. Later on we will head towards the majestic and peaceful Sikh temple Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, where you will be able to enjoy the hospitality of the followers of this religion. We will continue our sighting visiting the India Gate and the President House, very important icons of the biggest democracy on Earth. Finally we will see the sunset from the wonderful Akshardham Temple, where we will enjoy of an incredible multimedia water show. Overnight stay in Delhi.

  • Day 03
    Day 03    Delhi – Haridwar

    After breakfast we will drive towards the holy city of Haridwar, the Gateway of the Gods, a very important pilgrimage place for the followers of the Hindu religion. Here it is where the Ganga river emerges from the Himalayas and is the starting point for several pilgrimage centres located in the Uttarakhand state as the Chota Char Dham. Once in Haridwar we will visit by cable car the important Chandi Devi Temple which is perched on Neel Parvat and where we will be able to see great panoramic views of the city and the plains of the Ganges. We will also visit the Mansa Devi Temple on the opposite side of the city on the top of the hill. We will come back to the city centre of Haridwar just on time to see the Ganga Aarti by the banks of the river. This nightly ceremony attracts hundreds of pilgrims who send candles and flowers down the river as a sign of offering to Mother Ganga. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

  • Day 04
    Day 04    Haridwar – Rishikesh

    After a yogi breakfast we will drive in the morning to Rishikesh, the World Capital of Yoga, just 25 kms away from Haridwar. We will check in at the ashram and will have an introduction class with the yoga and meditation teacher (according to your level) to explain the activities to be taken in place the next following days. The rest of the day you will have it free to explore and walk around the famous and iconic bridge Lakshman Jhula. In the evening, around 6pm (at sunset) you will be able to attend to the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony, which is taken place along the banks of the Ganga river in the ghats of the town.   • Day 05
    Day 05    Rishikesh

    In the early morning before breakfast we will practice a yoga lesson with a reputed yogi from Rishikesh. After breakfast we will have a meditation session. You will have free time until lunch. During that time you can continue practising yoga and meditation at the ashram if you wish. After a light meal you will be able to practice another guided yoga session and another meditation lesson. The rest of the evening you will have it free to walk around the streets of Rishikesh. Overnight stay at the ashram in Rishikesh.

    Today we will repeat our yoga and meditation lessons as the previous day. Overnight stay at the ashram in Rishikesh.

  • Day 08
    Day 08    Rishikesh – Vrindavan

    After an early yoga session and a healthy breakfast, we will drive towards the charming city of Vrindavan, in Uttar Pradesh. Here Lord Krishna spent most of his childhood and nowadays it is a popular destination as it is the location of The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) headquarters. After a briefing with your yoga teacher you will have the free evening to explore this location. Overnight stay at the ashram in Vrindavan.

  • Day 9
    Day 9    Vrindavan

    Early in the morning you will have a yoga session with your reputed yoga teacher, followed by a yogi breakfast and a session of meditation. After this, you will have free time until lunch. During that time you can continue practising yoga and meditation at the ashram if you wish. After a light meal you will be able to practice another guided yoga session and another meditation lesson. In the evening we will visit Krishna Balaram Temple, location of the ISKCON headquarters. After a tour around the complex we will visit the Govind Dev Temple, which is of red color and has beautiful pillars with bells carved on them. Besides you will meet their naughty and famous inhabitants: the monkeys!!!! Overnight stay at the ashram in Vrindavan.

  • Day 10
    Day 10    Vrindavan

    Today we will repeat our yoga and meditation lessons as the previous day. In the evening we will visit the Pagal Baba Temple which looks like a fairytale castle with its wonderful white towers and floors. Overnight stay at the ashram in Vrindavan.

  • Day 11
    Day 11    Vrindavan – Agra

    After our last yoga session and a delicious healthy breakfast, we will leave towards Agra, famous around the world for being the place where the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is located. On arrival we will check in at the hotel and visit the Agra Fort, one of the most exquisite forts in India and from where the emperor Shah Jahan could see the construction of the mausoleum he commissioned to build for love in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After lunch you will be able to rest and will see a wonderful sunset in the gardens of Mehtab Bagh, from where you will observe the changing colors of the Taj Mahal as the sun is disappearing on the horizon. A unique moment for photography lovers. Overnight stay in Agra.

  • Day 12
    Day 12    Agra – Delhi

    Emperor Shah Jahan himself said about the Taj Mahal that ‘it made the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes’ as it is one of the most beautiful constructions you will see in your entire life. The best time to visit this masterpiece is at sunrise, so today we will visit this outstanding building between 5 and 6am (depending on the opening times). After visiting the Taj Mahal, we will go back to the hotel for breakfast and will drive back to Delhi where this tour ends. Once in Delhi we will finish our services with a little farewell gift from Dhyanam India Tours.

  • Day 01 : Delhi
